Started tearing down a Ranger 350V to replace the deck and stringers late last year. finally got the old deck, stringer box wood and flotation foam removed and all the surfaces sanded. Cant de-lid the boat due to not having the space, equipment and time so installing the stringers is going to be a little more challenging. Recently got all the materials - Went with all Coosa Bluewater 26 for the stringers and deck, and US composites for the 2lb foam and resin. Will be cutting new stringers this weekend and maybe glassing them in if the weather holds.

I used my garage rafters and ratchet strap to pull the cap

Odd thing is the foam filled stringer boxes only had wood underneath the top of the stringer box.. Is it normal to not have wood on the sides of the box?

depends on the construction. the wood may be there only to be able to screw things to the top of the stringers.
