1989 force 150 ???

motor will start and run when i manually choke with hands. has been sitting for a year how hard is it to take apart carbs and clean ????

I cleaned mine today very simple as lomg as you take your time and pay attention to what your doing

Do a compression/spark test.First get rebuild kits or diaphrams for your fuel pumps.Then clean the carbs and rebuild the whole system.Include NEW hoses and squeezie and new filters. Have a water/fuel seperating filter,no, put one in.Start using Ethanol stabilizer unless you use the boat a lot.
At the top of the force section is a sticky from FrankA. It explains how to do a linc and sinc after you remove the carbs and install them.
