Hi I just bought a used 125 that runs great but the controls are harder than I would like them to be so I traced to problem to the trigger. It has old grease that is sticky making it hard to move. My question is how should I go about fixing this? Should I just spray some degreaser and apply new grease or do I need take it completely apart? Im hoping I dont need to take flywheel off to clean trigger but if I have to do that I will. Thanks

It must really be gummed up to bind up the throttle. You can try spraying some degreaser and or lubricant to see if that helps. If it doesn't help then removing the flywheel is your only other option. There may be some debris or something else binding up the trigger assy. The trigger assy. doesn't really need any grease. It sits on the upper crankshaft seal plate, which has four posts which acts as a guide and is pretty loose.
