Hi everyone my problem started a while ago with doing water pump and I got the shift rod length wrong so I fixed the shift rod length but the engine would bag as if I was hitting a log at 4000rpm so I bought a clutch dog thinking it could be slipping. I have the gear case open thinking that something was broken in there but teeth on gears are fine no chips or wear and clutch dog looks brand new . If someone has any ideas what else to look at while it's apart would be appreciated
