1989 Evinrude 110 VRO

My motor starts and runs fine for the first 30 minutes or untill I stop. After first stop my motor will not get boat back on top unless I pump the ball. As long as I'm pumping the ball motor runs great,stop pumping and the motor wants to bog down. What's up with that?

Sounds like the motor is loosing it's fuel prime either from a crack in the fuel line or loose clamp connection. Could be that the VRO pump is bad but I'd check the fuel lines first. The pump will be pricey.
