1989 envirude 40hp

Can anyone advise on the wiring diagram for 1989 envirude 40hp or what the colors of the harness are for? The harness is hooked up to the motor i just dont know where they go on the throttle

Are you trying to go to new controls? Or the old version of them? Like does you control have the old red plug or the new 1996 and up kind?

Squeakk cadet: i believe its the original the boat was in bad shape when i got it just getting everything back in order

I know this isn't the control you are using.. But he goes into detail what all the colors do.. Maybe this will help?

I got it wired but it wont stay on turns on for a few seconds then turns off
