Hello fish, welcome to iboats. There is lots of info on this site for what you ask, just need to dig for it. Here is an excellent post on how to wake a sleeping outboard. http://forums.iboats.com/forum/engi...231-awakening-a-sleeping-outboard-by-boatbuoy I would look for a factory service manual for your engine as most secret are revealed in it. I did a quick Google for the owners manual, but did not see much, but I am not convinced on the value based on others I have seen.
