1989 25hp evinrude E25ELCEB common or not

I have a 25 hp evinrude from 1989 is it a 25c or reg 25? The model number is E25ELCEB i need to know for ordering lower unit seals.

I don't know where the 25 "C" came from. But there is a long list of 1989 25hp model numbers. The one you gave is the standard bread-and-butter model, with thru-prop hub exhaust. There was a commercial model E25RWK that had the old split gearcase. Possibly that is what they were referring to as "C"?
