Dear Forum,

I need some advice. I own a 1988 Bass Tracker Magna 17 ski/fish boat. It has a 90hp Mercury on it. My question is the windshields, 3 piece with center walk through, are in bad shape, it has lexan in the frames and the lexan is all cracked and looks terrible. The side pieces are curved and that is where the lexan has really cracked and fissured. Does anyone have advice on what to replace the lexan with and where I can have this done? I can send the frames and have someone do it, but I do not know where to send it to have done? I am on a budget and dont want to pay tons of money to have this done. PLEASE ADVISE!!!! You can contact me directly at EDIT I sent the frames to Ranger Boats in Arkansas a couple years ago and the lexan they put in the frames is now all fissured and cracked and I do not want to use lexan again. THANKS SO MUCH!

Re: 1988 Tracker Windshield

Sounds like Ranger used something other than Lexan to me, good Lexan doesn't do that.

You can buy Lexan sheets at Home Depot if you want to save money and take try at it yourself.
