1988 Merc 150 tach setting

Hello; I have a 88' Merc 150 6 cyl. I need to hook up the tach. Problem is that on the back of the tach it has 1,2,3,4,5 cyl switch and no 6 cyl. Could someone please tell me which setting I should use? Thank You

hey er here, set tac on #4 for [12 pole] for alternating, current.
