1988 glasstream cutlass supreme

I've sealed pretty much everything in my boat and seem to be no holes anywhere that I could see. My boat has the ability to lift the back flap up and look into the engine bay where the plug and bilge pump is, there is never any water in that area when we are out on the water. When we bring the boat back and hook it up to the trailer after an all day fishing trip, still no visible water near the plug. Once we pull the boat out of the water on the ramp, and have the boat at a slope and release the plug, a bunch of water poors out. Where could this be comming from? Wouldn't the water be going back into where the plug is when we go fast and the front end of the boat lifts up? This has been driving me crazy for a while now!

Seem to remember a thread like this from last year and it turned out that the guy had a screw sticking up on his bunk which made a hole in the bottom of the boat that you couldn't see when on the trailer

When the boat is sitting level in the water its possible that the water could be settled to the middle of the boat. Have you tried running the boat on the water and looking at the bilge area to see if there is any water dribbling? How much water are you talking about - cups or gallons?

I just fixed a screwy problem on my FIL's Malibu - one of the bolts that holds the platfom on had come loose and was allowing a lot of water into the boat. The nut for the bolt was hidden under the ski compartment and the bolt was hidden by the platform, so they had a hard time figuring out where it was coming from. So make sure you are finding every hole that goes through the hull.
