Hello,
This my first post. I had to replace the fluid for the tilt and trim, because it got water in it when a fitting broke. It was slowly dropping down when in the up position. I drained the oil out of the reservor and refilled it. Now i will not go up or down. Any one got any idea what may be wrong.

Thanks,
Chuck

Is the motor still working?

If so, I would loosen one of the lines from the piston side and try running it up/down. Carefull not to get sprayed with oil.

Perhaps it will start pumping with no pressure on the pump.

For the benefit of others that may have the same problem, please tell us how you fixed it.

Kinda sounds like he blead the air out of it. Possibly when he cracked the line and operated the pump like you had described to him.We run into that kind of problem at work with the hydralics on our equipment.
