Just noticed a small puddle of oil in yard where boat is sitting. Oil is coming from propeller. Can you replace the prop seals without taking the whole lower unit apart?
This has been observed many , many times.-----Leakage may well be from oil running down the exhaust housing and normal.--------Gearcases are pressure tested to look for seals that may be leaking.
As the guys above said.... The "OK" oil is usually very dark. You can crack the lower screw on gearcase to compare color and also to check for water intrusion.
