My motor drops all the way down through both the tilt and trim. The manual release seams to be sealed and has a good o-ring. From what I understand there are two check valves. One in a cylinder and one in the pump itself. I would like to repack both cylinders and do whatever I need to fix the problem. I have a Johnson service manual but it is not very detailed when it comes to the trim/tilt unit.
