1988 3.0 mercruiser won’t idle

I have a 3.0 mecrcruiser boat is a 1988 Bayliner Capri when I am taking it off the trailer it cranks fine and runs fine but when pulling it up to dock it stalls out will crank right back up. I have replace plugs and clean carb. Can’t find the exact fuel filter for it and ran some fuel treatment it it

go back to the carb, sounds like either dirt in the idle circuit or improper settings.

Your main fuel filter is part of the fuel pump, and you will also have another filter inside the carb behind where the fuel line connects
