I am thinking on rebuilding my 135. one piston went, badly pitted and it did the same to the head and the cyl is scored. My question is what year and or hp heads will interchange and do they make a sleeve for the block and wile I'm at is there any performance upgrades I can do?
Thanks Dave

Any of the 2 liter heads from 1984-91 will work only differences will be the older heads are 2 piece (has bolt on water jacket) and the new are 1 piece as jacket is cast in place. Horsepowers are from 135-175hp depending on year. You motor has a cast in place sleeve that can be bored up to .040 and can be sleeved if needed. In my experience if it needs a sleeve it usually cheaper to find a different block as these are a dime a dozen
