1987force Help

I have 1987 Force 50H.P. outboard. It wont give me more than 2000 rpm in the water. Dry it will give me 5000 rpm. I rebuilt the carb and still the same thing 2000 rpm.A professional told me it was the carb.I'm stumped what could it be?

Have you checked spark? I had a simalar problem on my 90 and it was only firing 1 cyl.

Carb rebuild didn't work. Now lets give the carbs something to work with. Fuel pump.
