I recently purchased a 1987 Sea Ray 268 Sundancer which the previous owners had removed the rear bench seat. They said they gave me all the parts to install it; however I can?t figure it out. At first glance it looks pretty simple, but when I attempt to install it, the rear of the seat sits too low and the front support legs cannot fully extend. It appears as if I am missing some spacers, it looks like a 2x4 would work perfect. The only reason I haven?t tried this yet is because the current mounting holes line up perfect with the mounting brackets. If I install a spacer the mounting screws won?t even make it that far down. I was hoping someone would have a parts or installation diagram to show me where I am going wrong. Or perhaps someone knows from experience what I need to do. I didn?t have my camera with me today but I will upload pictures tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
