1987 Johnson 48spl

I read the fuel mixture ratio is 50/1 but right were the fuel line hooks up to my motor I have a sticker that reads 100/1. Can anyone tell me why the sticker reads 100/1? Is that the correct ratio for it or should I use 50/1? I don't have an owners manual to check. Thanks

50:1. One pint of TCW-3 rated oil with 6 gallons of 87 octane fuel. No higher octane needed.
