E175TXCUA. On cold engine. Engine had not run in over 10 years. Lubricated day before and turned once by hand to distribute on cylinder walls. I got 85-90 on all 6 cylinders. Is this within specs?

likely to low for now but don't worry at least they are equal… just run it for a while feed it some decarb like POWER TUNE retest compression after a few hours . some would burn a can of SEAFOAM

change the impeller BEFORE running it if not………. who knows what will happen

^^All good advice. I don't like to use additives or cleaners unless special cases (Just 2-cycle at 50:1 will do the lubrication job, and could always squirt a little into the cylinders before firing if desired.) As suggested, if run dry for even 30 seconds, should change out the impeller -- also think some regular running could improve compression, as mentioned.

Carbs may need cleaning and kits. I would check fuel for water or other stuff before running to avoid contaminating carbs whether you have first cleaned the carbs or not. (Another reason why I don't like adding solvents to the fuel source before running -- can loosen up and transfer nasties from tank.)
