1987 Bayliner Capri 1950 OMC Cobra bowrider starter bolt broke off.

Here's some pics showing how tight it is down there. Hopefully someone has a suggestion on how to get to the broken bolt and drill it out.

pull motor
put motor on engine stand
flip motor over
use left handed drills

Two at the flywheel end. One on the back support bracket.

What’s strange is that starter has the front brace. So why did the bolt break? Left too loose?

Update. I got the starter off and found out both bolts broke off. I'd like to pull the engine, but haven't found a good video. Do I have to pull the stern drive off too?
