1987 - 90hp Johnson - will not start after engine is warmed up.

Hello,

I will run my outboard with no issues(starts up fine on a cold start), then I will turn the the motor off for a break, 10min or so and the engine will not start again. I have noticed that when idling the motor will hesitate and sometimes die out but will start right back up again.
My fuel lines check ok and I have used 2 separate fuel tanks with the same issue.

Could this be a fuel pump issue ?

More likely an ignition issue. Do you still have spark when this happens?
