1987 90 hp vro No fire on two cylinders

I have a 1987 VRo Johnson 90 HP outboard. I have lost fire on 2 cylinders, changed the CD4 Pack , changed the Coil, changed the spark advance and the stator. Does anyone have any idea what my problem is? steve

sure its an 87? please post the model number to be sure. if memory serves 87 has 2 powerpacks. 88 starts the single cd4 powerpack. normally i would say that one of the power packs is bad, which may be the case if it is not an 88 or newer. check the year again, and if its 87 swap the powerpack, and see if the problem switches sides. if so you have your answer...get your old pack out of the garbage, lol.
