1987 85HP air box screws

Does anyone know the size of the screws that hold the air box on? And do I have to use a gasket?

I'm not familiar with the terminology, but what you are referring to as air box? Is this the carburetor intake cover? If it is then there are two sizes, 1/4-20-1 1/4 and the other one is 1/4-20-1 1/4. Head style is fillister head.

Yes it takes a gasket.
​Also a bit of thread lock as they wiggle out.
I think there are 2 sizes for the plenum.
1/4-20 X 1, 3/4 and 1/4-20 x 1, 1/4 3 each.
​F481836 gasket, about $1.50 each

Thanks the boat is at my parents just bot the intake cover. didn't want to have to leave the lake to get the screws.
