Maybe I said it poorly. I am saying that there should be no electrical connection between any lighting coil wire and the block.
OK, that means he should have very high ohms reading between the green wires and the block.
megohm reading or OL (out of range readings)

and all this time I thought you knew what you were doing with all that electrical stuff you played with.

I understand how this stuff goes wrong sometimes, I usually blame it on the beer I drink

I think i have narrowed it down to the lighting coil and have ordered a replacement, I will update the thread on if this solves my issues I appreciate all of the suggestions and help.

Well I changed out the lighting coil the old one was melted and crusty not sure if thats normal or not but I now have a working charging system .
