Tried a search and couldn't come up with anything, so forgive me if this is a repetitive question. Are these engines 350 chevy blocks with some volvo parts added on or are the stand alone Volvo engines. As I searched I saw there engines were 5.7- 5.0-7.4-4.3 that mirror the GM numbers. Are the exhaust manifolds and risers the same as GM's ? Thanks

They are GM engines with Volvo externals. The manifolds and risers are from Volvo Penta or aftermarket marine supplier, GM does not source them.

Ok thanks, so the crank/ pistons/cam/block are GM and the heads,[distrib, water pump].are Volvo and that's why the manifolds don't match up.

Nope,.... The heads are part of GM's long block motor,.....

Everything bolted onto the Long Block, is Volvo,....

GM don't use water cooled exhaust manifolds,....
The Volvo manifolds bolt to the GM heads,...
