1986 vro looper 225 hp replace vro with new fuel pump

Seems there is alot of info on this topic but I cannot find specifics in regards to swapping out my VRO 4 wire pump to a conventional fuel pump. I picked up this unit;

Johnson/Evinrude VRO Oil Injection Conversion Fuel Pump, 5007420, 5007422 EMP
I am unable to determine if I still need the Vacuum switch assembly

Which would be part 24

In additiion do I need to make adjustments to the "pulse" line? Any other mods I should know about before I hook up this pump?
Any help appreciated and pics if you have them. I have been a member forthe last 4 years but mostly in the rehab forum.
