1986 Ranger 335 v wiring question

I am new to the boating world. My uncle gave me his Ranger 335 v this past week after it has sat in his garage for two years needing live well repair. I replaced both live well valves and put in new hoses.

now the real issue is he had the seats out, gas tank out, and batteries out prior to me getting the boat. I received all the parts but I am not sure on the wiring.

Example: Do all ground wires run back to the battery neg - or is there a point to ground to in the boat?

If someone could pull their boxes out of the back of their old ranger and snap a couple photo's I would really appreciate it. Mine currently has loose wires throughout the rear compartment.

The boat came with a new motor guide foot control 52lb thrust trolling motor, a rebuilt 110 hp johnson, new hummingbird fishfinder and accessories.

I look forward to putting things back together but he is in no condition to help. He recently had quadruple by-pass surgery and is having a hard time recovering.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Also any general information on a 1986 335 v with a 4v Johnson 110 hp outboard would be appreciated.
