I currently have an old 1986 OMC binnacle control. Given the age, I am cleaning up and lubricating the binnacle control. I plan on purchasing new control cables to replace the original OMC OEM 18' cables (OMC part number 173118).
Is there any functional advantage to the Teleflex TFExtreme option or UFLEX Mach Series options over the OMC cables? I am curious as to whether there is an option that provides some sort of upgrade in technology for smoothness of operation or longevity. Thanks
