1986 mariner 60 hp

I just recently bought 60 hp mariner, motor runs, just been sitting up for a few months, has a rough idle to it and wanting to die when slowly throttleing up but will stay running when throttling up quickly, but dies when throttling down, replaced fuel line, gas tank, and new fuel, and plugs, im thinking carbs need cleaned out and adjusted? please share info thanks!!!!
