1986 Johnson 50hp engine stopped running

First time out with this 50hp VRO and everything was running great for about a 1/2 hour and all of a sudden the engine stopped. Turned the ignition but "nothing". Not even a sound. Battery was fully charged.

Had to get towed back...great way to start the season.

Any ideas????

check near starter solenoid, for an inline fuse. do you have an emergency kill lanyard.
