1985's - Alumacraft Pro17 & Merc 75 hp

Any recomendations on prop sizing for this combination?

Also, did the splines change from 1985 to 1991? I found a guy selling a new prop for cheap and was wondering if it would fit.

as far as prop fit check in the iboats prop store to see if the same part number fits both motors,make note of hub numbers if any.
Without details on the boat weight?difficult to make a suggestion.
If you have a prop do a test run get us the max rpm and speed along with the prop size.( usually on the barrel or under the prop nut.
