1985 ski supreme stringers

I am a newbie to this site and to restores at the same time so i need some help. I bought an 85 ski supreme a couple months ago and the stringers are completely rotted out. I have been doing some reading on here about replacing stringers but what I would really like is if someone can tell me where I can read some instructions on doing all the fiberglass and epoxy work. Also in order to do the stringers and put the deck back in do I have to take the top half of the boat off. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I/O or outboard? If I/O you may be able to keep the cap on, but it may be easier to remove the cap. Just depends on how the boat is constructed. Look up at the stickies at the top of this restoration forum. There is a lot of information about using the fiberglass and the resin.

Do you have any pix of the '85 Ski Supreme? Isn't it an INBOARD?

Thank you very much for the welcome. This is my first restore an my first inboard. I'm finding lots of stuff to read. Thanks again.

Without pix, I don't have an real idea what's involved in removing & replacing the transom, deck & stringers on an INBOARD boat, specifically, but the stringers support the motor (or motor mount stringers more accurately) & the hull, stringers, deck & transom may be constructed different then either an I/O or an OB boat.
