Here goes. Its full game on.

My grandfather bought this boat in 1985 with a Mariner 9.9. I still have it. It needs love, but thats next. The Seafarer has a Etec 30 on it, due for maintenance. We pulled it off and built a stand for it. Removing the cap on the transol was NOT fun. I currently have the transom out waiting for 84 Lumber to recieve the Marine grade plywood I ordered for it. Currently, as of April 6, 2023 the front floor is half removed and a pattern has been made. I plan on reinforcing it with angle aluminium. Under the bench seats are bulkheads, making some of this a little easier. Just a little. Heres to getting her back on the water this year!!!

Nice! Putting the kid to work is the best and they love being a part of it. The seat layout is ideal for moving around in there. Are you just restoring it back to original? Are you going to add foam under the floor? Looks like you could pack enough down there to not need much under the seats, have more storage.

Right now shes going back to origional. The seats already have the whole section filled. Its not nasty or rotted, as its had air flow and never been wet. I am considering adding some in the bow though- it has a ton of room to work with.

This project has been wierd, but full of solid customer service. I ordered Marine grade plywood through 84 Lumber. Their price was double from 2018, but thats to he expected. Only my 1/2 in sheets came through. They are hot shotting the single 3/4 in piece from the train depot and keeping the 1/2 in covered until I can get there Wednesday. Im impressed. Honestly.
