1985 mercury 90hp

hi there<br />i am stumped, i just picked up my boat/motor,<br />ran great day 1, day 2 it started sputting a bit kind of like surging, then it cut out...<br />it will start back up and run, but eventually cuts out.. i bought new tank and gas line, cleaned the carbs, and cleaned the plugs.. any suggestions

When it does this, pump the primer ball. If it isn't firm, you have a problem with the fuel pump, or air getting into the fuel line.<br />It would not hurt to run a compression test.
