Hi all
my problem is that:
I have a Johnson 90 hp and the engine is in good condition.
The problem is the start up in cold condition. When I turn on the key and play with the enrichener the starting motor engage the flywheel and the motor run. The smoke come off the exhaust duct but the engine don't start. I retry 3-4 time at the and the motor start.
Is a choke failure, spark plugs or.......

Thanks my friends

Try this. 1) squeeze primer bulb until firm. 2) raise fast idle lever 3) turn key to ON (not start), 4) push key in (choke) and hold for a count of 8. 5) Turn key to start. When engine starts lower fast idle lever to a just a bit higher than normal idle. You may need to push the key in (choke again) momentarily if the engine tends to die.

Hi
I try to disconnect the little rubber hose from the primer solenoid and the carb. I push the key on more time but from the pipe come out only a little drop of gasoline.
