My power pack wiring on my 1985 70hp Johnson has a three wire plug that goes to my stator. I know what the two browns are for but I don?t know what the yellow and black wire is could it be the kill circuit?
Yes, it is the kill circuit. When I changed the stator on my 60hp, I had to remove the yellow/black wire from the old stator plug and install it into the new stator plug.
