1985 150 Merc stator question

Can any one tell me in detail how to check my stator with a meter? I have a meter and don't know exacly how to use it very well. I believe I may have stator problem on the slow speed side. Any advice would be deeply apreciated.

Yellow to yellow - less than 1 ohm
Blue to red - 5.4 - 6.2K ohms
Blue/white to Red/white - 5.4 - 6.2K ohms
Red to ground - 124-175 ohms
Red/white to ground - 125-175 ohms
Yellow to ground - inf

When ohming out the leads the motor should NOT be running.
