1984 stingray svb cap removal

Hello, I am trying to get the cap off my 84 stingray svb, this cap is built with a splash well/outboard engine. I am having trouble getting the back of the cap off, all fasteners are removed and the plastic piece of pipe for the water to run out of the splash well is removed as that pipe goes through the transom.
I have a bottle jack under each rear seat where there is a piece of wood fiberglassed in, I am not applying any real pressure by use of the jacks, just enough to keep the cap from resting back onto the hull as I am trying to work it off.
I can't find any reason as to why it's as stuck as it is, I have pulled really hard upwards on it as I am standing in the boat. Hoping someone on here may have run into this issue with this boat and was able to come up with a way to get it to lift. Thanks

Did you cut the sealant between the cap and hull (under the rub rail)?

The sealant on this boat was on the outside under edge of the rub rail which 95% of it come off as I pulled the rub rail. There wasn't anything for sealant under the rail. Thanks

There is sealant between the cap and hull. I used a linoleum knife on sealant when I pull a cap

There's a glitch in the matrix at the server level so pix posting isn't working.

Mods notified Admin but no fix yet

Maybe this cap has been off at some point in its life but I have enough of a gap between the cap and hull that I can see in between the the cap and hull to the top edge of the rear of the hull and I see no sealant. The sides of the hull are loose enough that I can get my fingers over the top edge of the hull. I looked very closely from the inside of the boat as well and can not find anything that would prevent it from lifting.

I have the bow end of it lifted about a 1/2" up but haven't continued to lift it off any further as it got to a point where it seems somewhat stuck which I figured is because I am not able to lift the entire cap up in a level manner due to the back not moving at all. I am starting to wonder if the bow and stern are pulling against each other.

I should probably note that I am doing this on the trailer which is a keel roller trailer, I have all the weight on the keel and I have the stabilization rollers set up so that the roller on the inside is centered under the stringer on each side. I had then used a 2x8 over the tops of the rollers running the length of the boat to help stabilize it all and I do not have my winch pulled tight.

I think that the issue is that where the back of the splash well meets the transom they used resin to join them together. Which of that's the case I'm guessing you would have to cut out that second of splash well and re do it once the cap is off.
