Thanks guys. I hunted down the guy I bought it from who said it weighed about 3600lb when he had it crane-launched at a pier. Fully loaded, without trailer.
I have a 1884 230 Scorpion XL Stinger and it weighs in just under 4000LBS with gear and some gas. I know from experiance that a bunk trailer is the only way to go .I had an EZloader .Not so EZ let me tell YA . I built a new tube frame bunk trailer for it last summer and am over joyed at the results. I copied the Heritage tube frame trailer my Dad has under his 1983 230 Scorpion.
The trailer that come with the boat is a bunk style, but is pretty rusted out and needs replacing. Since I will be mostly in salt water, I'll try to get galvanized one. sounds like I should avoid the roller type.
