I have a 1984 mariner outboard that had recently started acting up so I was doing a check on the basics and noticed that top and bottom plug on right side were not sparking. I switched the coils with the ones on the left side and also switched plugs around and still no spark to those wires. I took the box off where al the wires go to and checked all ot them and their grounds. We have been checking the spark every so often tonight and the spark is not consistent. sometimes the top and bottom will work and sometimes the middle will not. At the current time all three plugs on the right side are firing but none on the left side are firing.... Does anyone have any suggesttions as to why the plugs are not firing or why they are not consisent in which ones do not fire? Thanks
