It's your motor you can do what you want......WD-40 is good but I don't think it will fix your compression problem. 30-40 PSI tells me it is time to take a look.....snake camera in the plug hole or remove the head. It won't hurt anything to try the WD-40 and find out for yourself if that will work or not. If the cylinder is scored/damaged already it will not make any difference.

I know how to read. I disagree with Jerry. Check valves in a fuel pump have nothing to do with the gasket either.

Spray WD in hole before taking comp reading??
At 30# WD ain't gonna bring the comp up enough to help anything.
Like I suggested before: snake camera, someone suggested remove the head? that's the next step.

Well here’s the verdict after hours of prying breaking blots and welding and heating I got the head off cylinder 3 looks good but the head gasket dosnt had a little blow out

Now I can either put piston rings as well or just put it back togeather and let it ride

Does it need it ???
Clean all mating surfaces & install new gasket, check the compression
Honestly there at 105 each cylinder besides the one with the blown gasket and was running fine so I’ll probably put some marvel mystrol oil in it until parts get here and put in back togeather

Only question I got now is someone made a fitting that sprays water out the side should I plug it off or leave it?

Comes out the top of the head and let’s water out through the side of the outboard case

If it works (pees water out) I would leave it be.....gives you a visual that your water pump is working. A lot of owners have added a telltale if it didn't come with one originally.

No need for "snake oil" (unless it makes you happy for some reason & enjoy a smoke show.)
DO however;
- Get another gauge to check your compression readings
- Clean/check the recirculating hoses & fitting (are check-valves)

Ahh ok now what’s the purpose of the cover on the outside of the head? Doesn't looks like water or anything goes in it
