Well I think Nordin answered your concern about the water issue.....I was wondering about it myself. Learn something new every day about these motors. The water may be coming in around that leg seal....only ones I could find were some used ones on ebay. Everywhere else was NLA. Your best bet might be to remove those plastic plugs (if they are not already) so it will drain better and not worry about it. Like he said, as soon as you get on plane the water will drain out and not cause a problem. And when you stop the water will come back in......not a big deal.Still trying to figure out water issue tho
But even when I was running it last Saturday noticed no issues from the water so I’m gonna let it ride for now!I will try to see exactly where it comes from next time I’ll lower it really slow and see what I can’t find thanks for all the help guys! I have just about solved all my issues from when I first bought the boat till now!
Your seal must be one of the very fewMine does not do that....seems to always be dry down there. Is that normal for his 125 Force and will it hurt anything? It's not a leak from above, but rises up from the leg.....thanks.

Hey one last thing how much air do you have to bleed out of tilt and trim, it seems it will stay up then when I go down and up again it starts leaking down again then when I bleed air it goes awayWas thinking the same thing....

You should not use anything on these nuts or threads......the seal is made by the metal to metal contact of the flared line to the valve body. This is why those fittings need to be tightened pretty good to make a good seal.Also should I put loc tight or thread sealer on the hydraulic flare nuts

Not much to it really.....basically, start with engine all the way down....remove cap, top off fluid. With cap off, run engine up/down a few times.....top off, then up/down a few more times. Only add fluid to reservoir when engine is all the way down......put cap back on, done. Is possible to get air bubbles in the oil sometimes, and can make it hard to get all the air out. Just let it sit for a while to allow bubbles to clear, then try again......Honestly the video I watched just said go up and down three times then let the air out and do that about 5 times
Just to be clear, you don't have to let the air out.....it will do it automatically as you raise the engine up and down with the cap OFF. The expelled air will appear as bubbles in the fluid in the reservoir. If there are a lot of bubbles in the oil they will get pumped back into the system and you will have to start all over again......then let the air out
