1983 Sea Ray SRV207

Hi all! I'm new to this forum so please go easy on me. I might be in the wrong area but what the hell. I have the opportunity to buy a 1983 Sea Ray SRV207. My question is I can't seem to find any info about this boat. I know it is a 21ft bow-rider with a Chevy 350, other than that Nada! will some one school me about this boat, things to look out for besides your norm( gimbel(sp) baring etc). Also if someone has some pics that would be awesome. The pic i attached is a 1986 and looks similar.

first and formost, take it out on the water b4 you buy.
then is the floor soft? everything work, blowers, bilge pump, lights, just like a car.
did i mention to take it out on the water b4 your buy. oil pressure and water temps good. does it steer good, ride correct in the water.
take it for a ride b4 you buy it.
all the gauges work.
then look at it again. then take it out on the water for a ride.
make sure you driver it on the water.

Oh and did I mention "take it out for a ride on the water". there are a ton of people that dont take them out and then get bit. dont be one. if theres a problem then talk them down or move on to the next one.

Wait! so I need to take it out first! lol j/k thanks for the advice that was actually the first thing I was going to do.

I think that is one of the best bow riders ever made. I had an 84 207. The only negative to me was it was Heavy, but as a result rode great in rough water. Engine access wat not that great.

Do the search for 1984 since they don't have the 83 up there. This might help you get some info on that model. Good luck!
