Hey Everyone. I have a 50 hp Force outboard built in 1983 that I am trying to get running. The outboard looks pretty clean but I am in the process of changing the basics like the water pump, cleaning the carb, changing the fuel lines, changing spark plugs, and replacing throttle cables.

Doe anyone have any idea where to find parts for this outboard? I am finding some parts that are saying they fit Mercury or Force but I am not sure they will fit as old of a motor as mine. It would be great to swamp the water pump or at least the impeller.

Thanks for the help!

If you have part numbers, look on ebay....you might find a parts manual for your motor there too. If not, marineengine.com and Crowley have exploded parts diagrams with most part numbers listed and they carry some of the parts. Franz marine is a good source for parts and info...as well as Mastertech marine. Ebay is best for NLA and NOS hard to find parts, and used parts.

Thank you both! I am so use to ordering stuff online it never occurred to me that I should go to a local dealer. Plus I just haven't known where to look online either so thanks top gun! Hopefully I can find my parts now.
