Hi,<br /><br />I have a 1983 Evinrude 25 and have adjusted the timing stop to get the correct timing advance. A simple question that probably has a complex answer, but "How do I go about adjusting the stop on the timing linkage that opens the throttle ?" <br /><br />(It is the little screw clamp on the sliding rod)<br /><br />Any ideas how the start point for throttle opening is defined?<br /><br />Any suggestions gratefully received!<br /> <br />Cheers<br /><br />Hugh
