1983, 9.8 hp, Firing One Cylinder Only

Hi. Been a while. Hope you're all well.
I have a 9.8 hp, that appears to be a 1983 with serial 6403333, which is firing on one cylinder only. I swapped the coils to find that they are both good. So I think my problem is either a bad switch box (power pack) or a bad signal coming into the switch box.
How can I sort these out?

I'm having the same issue as we speak on an 81 40hp 2 stroke. I've checked all the components and have found the rectifier was bad but would fire the same way even with it unhooked so the only thing I feel like it can be be is the switch box. I've found a decent deal on one and placed my order tonight and will report back as soon as I find out if this is the issue.

CDI Electronics used to give access to an on line troubleshooting guide that was great. It looks like you have to pay for it now. $50.00. Ugh.
