1982 Evinrude 90HP E90TLCNB Coils not available?

Hello all,
Performing a maintenance on my 90hp, did t-stats, decarb, Plugs,and some other minor items. Overall the motor runs strong, it misses a little at idle on the muffs. I was considering replacing coils as a preventative measure and they appear to be no longer made? The coils may be original, I have owned the motor 9 years. Will launch and test next weekend, any input is welcome.

The coils are available you just need to do some research. I crossed referenced the 1980 85 as it used the same coils.

i fitted a 1976 85 hp coil on my m8ts motor today hes got a 1984 90hp it fits perfectly you just have to solder 2 wires on to the brown & yellow wire & 2 wires on to the brown wire those are the 2 wires coming out the coil one wire that you soldered on to the brown& yellow wire then goes to starboard power pack & one wire that you soldered onto the brown wire also goes to starboard power pack .
the other wire that you solered to the brown & yellow goes to port power pack & the other wire that you soldered to the brown wire also goes to port power pack .
the 2 yellow ones go to the rectifier as normal .

i saved him some money as he had it lying around . it works
