Hey All! Thanks for all of the good information I've been able to soak up so far! I have a pretty good grasp for how to replace my deck, but I have a dilemma. When I purchased my project, the previous owner had already cut out the majority of the plywood deck. He left about 4" all the way around still attached to the fiberglass hull. What tool can I use to get close enough to the hull so I can remove the remaining plywood?

Question #2: There also was no foam anywhere underneath the deck. So my ignorant, new to boating question is, "How do i know if my boat is suppose to have foam down there?"

I'll be posting some pictures here real soon, but just wanted to get started!

Thanks in Advance!

4 inch grinder or a 3 inch cutoff tool.If the wood isnt rotten might attach to it but Id cut it all out.Dont know if you had foam maybe someone else can chime in
