I just wanted to see if I can get some confirmation that the bracket from a 1985 30hp would work on a 1982 25 hp.. From the pictures the 30hp looks almost identical except for some additional holes. When I compare the hole location to the 82 bracket it just looks like it hasn't been drilled out.
The starter bracket's ear broke off from the bolt not being on tight enough.
